Chizoba Legal Ltd is listed on the records of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (the "SRA") as an entity which is not a solicitors firm and is not authorised by the SRA and employs Chizoba Ikwueke who is a qualified solicitor authorised and regulated by the SRA and is bound by the SRA Principles and Code of Conduct for Solicitors.
Chizoba Ikwueke is committed to giving you the best possible service. However, if at any point you become unhappy or concerned about the service provided then you should inform her immediately, so that she can do her best to resolve the problem. In the first instance it may be helpful to contact her to discuss your concerns and she will do her best to resolve any issues within 48 hours. If having discussed your queries with Chizoba Ikwueke and you would like to make a formal complaint, then you can proceed to make a formal complaint by contacting Chizoba Ikwueke with an email with the subject headed "Formal Complaint" which sets out the full details of your complaint. Making a complaint will not affect how Chizoba Ikwueke handles the legal matter on which she is advising you.
The Legal Ombudsman can help you if Chizoba Ikwueke is unable to resolve your complaint. They will look at your complaint independently and it will not affect how Chizoba Ikwueke handles your matters. Before accepting a complaint for investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with Chizoba Ikwueke first. Law firms regulated by the SRA are required to obtain professional indemnity insurance to protect clients in the event that they wish to make a claim against the law firm instructed by such client. As Chizoba Ikwueke's employer (Chizoba Legal Ltd) is not a law firm, it and Chizoba Ikwueke are not required to have professional indemnity insurance subject to the SRAs Minimum Terms and Conditions. A client with a turnover of under £2,000,000,000 is eligible to make a claim to the SRA Compensation Fund if such client had cause to believe that a law firm it had engaged owed it money. Chizoba Legal Ltd is not a law firm, nor is it permitted to hold client money on account. As such clients of Chizoba Legal Ltd do not have access to the SRA Compensation Fund.
